Kitesurf in Porto Pino – Sardinia

HOW TO GET THERE

From Cagliari direction Pula – Teulada. Exceeded Teulada continue towards Sant’Anna Arresi where you will find , as you enter the village turn left by the alert Porto Pino. You can not get close to the beach with the car so well to control the conditions you have to take a nice walk at least half an hour ( round trip ).Perhaps one of the few beaches in the still wild south coast, also in part because it is the domain of the U.S. military base that uses it for practice

In the summer there are stalls on the beach . Pizzerias and restaurants are often open only during the season but not far at St. Anna Arresi found sandwich bars and grocery stores are open all year.

They go good winds from the South- East, South, Southwest and West that make beautiful waves but also a bit messy . The Mistral comes from the right side , it is often gusty but after the storms from the west and south-west sort the waves.

In the summer season (1 May 30 September), it’s available kitesurfing only in the kite area in la Maddalena Spiaggia 15 mins to Cagliari, Pula direction. The only KITESURF AREA authorized near Cagliari.Nine miles of beach to the south. In the winter completely usable even if we prefer segnalere two spots practically at the two ends of the promenade.
